The three-point cut gives improved contact which leads to fewer deformations of the punched parts. This prevents damages to the draw-in bolt. Before using the screw-hole punch, it is absolutely necessary to lubricate the draw-in bolt with a cutting spray or a cutting paste. That will reduce abrasion and increase the service life of the tool.
The metric draw-in bolt is of the highest quality and, therefore, designed for extreme loads. If lost, it can be replaced for short-time use by customary fine-threaded metric bolts.
It is particularly suitable for the use with wrenches/spanners, manual or foot-operated hydraulic punches.
