The dual control thermostat in breakproof housing is intended for pocket mounting. It is a combination of a temperature controller (TW) and a fail-safe safety limit thermostat (STL). It is used in heat generator plants and other heating, ventilation and air conditioning appliances. The thermostat is fitted with a single-pole micro switch with change-over switch and with a compensation of the ambient temperature (TW) at the switching head and capillary (KTK).
The nominal value of the STL is irreversibly adjustable from higher to lower temperature. If the nominal value is reached, the change-over switch is activated(TW-function), or the limiter switches and stays locked in this position (STL- function). Reset is performed manually and is only possible after the sensing element has cooled off by approx. +20 °C.
