Glycerine-filled pressure gauges

Pressure gauges are measuring devices for the detection and display of the physical pressure of a medium.

Glycerine-filled pressure gauges defy the most adverse conditions. They deliver correct measurements even in case of highly dynamic pressure loads and in surroundings exposed to strong vibrations. The glycerine protects the needle from fluttering.

Note:
The volume of the glycerine can vary due to temperature fluctuations. This causes a change of the pressure balance between the inside and outside of the casing. That is why a vent plug (mini ball valve or rubber grommet) is used for the compensation of the pressure.

By default, the pressure gauge is supplied with closed vent plug. After the installation, the plug must remain open. Normally, a small amount of glycerine escapes until the pressure is compensated.
