Flue gas damper HKS90T, Diermayer

HKS thermal flue gas damper for controlling the flue gas opening in upright gas fireplaces such as gas boilers, storage water heaters and heating inserts. The housing of the damper is made of stainless steel, the control elements operate independently of each other and are made of thermo-bimetal.

Mounted on nin-hinged bearings, the damper reacts very sensitively to temperature differences. Shortly after the burner ist started and has reached a flue gas temperature of around 40 °C, the damper opens automatically. When the burner is switched off, the damper closes again automatically. This prevents the loss of heated room air and heat stored in the stove, which results in energy savings and a reduction in fuel consumption.

The robust flue gas damper is maintenance-free, durable and insensitive to soiling. It can be installed both horizontally and vertically.
