Premium REVERSE+ heat pump combination storage tank, which can be used for cooling and heating in addition to DHW heating. The large heat exchanger surface of the double coil is specially designed for heating and supplying domestic hot water in combination with heat pumps and solar thermal systems. The additional buffer storage tank increases the volume of the heating circuit and, thus, avoids cycling of the heat pump. The buffer area is thermally separated from the DHW area and can therefore be used independently for cooling or heating surface heating systems.
In order to protect the cylinder surface from condensate during the cooling function, the cylinder is equipped with a special, high-quality anti-corrosion coating. As condensation can form at cooling temperatures in conjunction with higher ambient temperatures, it is necessary to specially protect system components involved. The high-quality A⁺ insulation of OEG ensures the lowest temperature losses also with these storage tanks.
To supplement the heat pump heating system, it is possible to operate an optional immersion heater in both the DHW storage tank and the buffer cylinder below.
