Bonnatex PTFE flat seal FA 5.0 x 2.0 mm self-adhesive

BonnaTex is a sealing tape made of 100% purely expanded PTFE. The versatile sealing tape wound on a coil adapts quickly to any shape regardless of the flange size or complexity. It has excellent sealing properties and is a universal seal with an extremely wide application range, which is applicable easily and quickly. Due to its excellent formability and flexibility, it is particularly suitable for the compensation of considerable unevennesses and damaged sealing areas as well as for all pressure- and tension-sensitive connections where only low contact pressure can be applied. It is used for sealing flange connections, pump housings, transmissions, compressors, sealing of manual and manhole openings, ventilation systems, heat exchangers, in apparatus construction, on smoke gas systems and as storage tank sealing.
The BonnaTex sealing tape does not deteriorate, is physiologically harmless and pressure-resistant up to 200 bar. It is also resistant to all media in the ph-range from 0 to 14 (except for diluted or melted alkali metals and elemental fluorine at higher temperatures and pressure).

Thermal resistance is between -240 and +260 °C, short-term up to +310 °C.
