The adhesive is used for bonding the pipe connections. It is applied on the inside of the sealing element and on the outside of the pipe by using a brush.
For removing the adhesive, the insert pipe is heated with a soft soldering flame until the pipe can be pulled out of the socket.
Note:
The sealing element is to be replaced when reassembling the socket joint.
